Buried in Blue: The Statistical Fraud Behind America’s Urban Crime
How Democrats Conceal Violence, Protect Criminals, and Gaslight America.
Exposing the Lies Behind Urban Crime
After five rounds of analysis, the picture is undeniable: Democratic politicians in high-crime cities are lying about the true scale of violence. Reported crime is a half-truth—manipulated by charge downgrades, exclusions, and reporting gaps. When they aren’t hiding the blood, they deflect—claiming most violent crime comes from far-right extremists. The reality is starkly different: lenient policies put repeat offenders back on the streets, where 3% of young Black males commit half of all murders—93% Black-on-Black. Because this group is politically “protected,” Democrats bury the truth.
The Big Picture: America’s Cities by the Numbers
Of 19,479 U.S. cities and towns, most are small, but 342 with over 100,000 people drive the nation’s crime statistics. Among them, 45 of the 50 most violent—Democrat-run for decades—house 15% of the population (~51 million). They report 490,000 violent crimes (35% of 1.4 million) and 6,567 homicides (40% of 16,419) per FBI UCR 2024. Adjusted for 40–50% underreporting (NCVS 2023–2025), the toll rises to about 1 million violent crimes and 10,500 homicides—40% of the national total.
The numbers leave no doubt: Democrat-run cities drive America’s violent crime.
Debunking the Far-Right Extremist Myth
Democrats claim far-right extremists drive most violent crime. It’s a lie. The ADL inflates right-wing incidents by 40–60%, mislabeling gang fights and prison brawls as “white supremacist” (Manhattan Institute 2024). Corrected data shows extremists—right, left, or Islamist—account for less than 0.1% of America’s 19,000 annual homicides (Cato 2025; FBI UCR 2024). Even with underreporting, the share stays under 0.05% of ~26,500 homicides (NCVS 2023–2025).
In 2025, left-wing violence surged 133%—7–8 incidents versus right-wing’s 1–2—including the assassination of Charlie Kirk (CSIS 2025). Extremist killings are rarer than lightning strikes.
Democrats push the myth to deflect from the real carnage and homicides in their Democrat-run cities that dominate America’s violence. It’s deception, plain and simple.
Blue City Violence: The Hard Numbers
The carnage doesn’t come from phantom Nazis. It comes from Democratic policies. No-bail laws, Soros-backed DAs, and soft sentencing—pure ideology—spike recidivism 20–30% (Heritage 2024; Capital Research Center 2024). The result: 3% of young Black males (ages 15–34) commit half of all murders—93% Black-on-Black (FBI UCR 2024; NCVS 2023). A truth buried to shield a voting “tribe.”
These 45 Democrat-run cities drive outsized violence.
Reported Averages: 1,050 violent crimes per 100,000—2.9× the national average (359/100,000). Homicide rate 25/100,000—5× the national 5.0.
Adjusted Averages: 2,835 violent crimes per 100,000—8.3× the national 340/100,000. Homicide rate 68/100,000—13.6× the adjusted national 5.0.
Excluding the 44: drops the adjusted national violent crime rate to 262/100,000—making these cities 10.8× more dangerous than the rest of America.
Table 1: Worst Examples (Reported → Adjusted)
The correlation is clear: longer Democratic control means higher crime (r = 0.45). Chicago proves the pattern—50 years of blue rule, 1,050 reported, 2,835 adjusted.
Contrast with the Most Dangerous Red Cities: Even at their worst, Republican-led cities tell a different story. Tulsa, the most violent red city, runs 910/100,000 reported and 1,820/100,000 adjusted. Across all red-led cities, averages are 811/100,000 reported and 1,622/100,000 adjusted—still above national levels, but nearly twice as safe as blue counterparts.
It’s incompetence codified into woke progressive policy. Democrats rig the stats, free repeat offenders, and let their cities drown in blood. (See Exhibit A for why even these adjusted rates still understate the true scale of blue-city violence.)
The Scam Exposed: Democratic Deflection
Democrats rely on deflection. They amplify phantom threats, erase left-wing violence, and use media to sell lies. Antifa’s $2 billion in riot damage and dozens of deaths in 2020 vanish from the record. Left-wing killings, like Charlie Kirk’s 2025 assassination, are ignored, while 55% of Democrats justify Trump’s murder (Rasmussen 2025).
It’s projection. They bury their failures—no-bail laws, Soros-backed DAs, and soft sentencing—that keep violent repeat offenders on the streets and drive 40% of America’s murders in their cities.
Democrats aren’t focused on public safety. Their priority is ideology and power. Their propaganda machine brands White Christian conservatives as “fascists” to gin up rage, dehumanize opponents, and justify political violence. The scam is simple: inflate false threats, lie about the crime stats, while allowing their own cities to drown in blood.
Conclusion: Democrats Own the Bloodshed
The case is closed. The numbers don’t lie—Democrats do. Out of 342 large U.S. cities, 88% of the most violent are Democrat-run, their adjusted crime rates showing carnage far worse than reported. Three percent of offenders—shielded by Democratic policies—commit half of all murders, 93% Black-on-Black. Instead of fixing the problem, Democrats rig the stats and blame phantom “white supremacists” and “far-right extremists.”
No-bail laws, Soros-funded prosecutors, and soft sentencing keep violent repeat offenders on the streets. Manipulated data and media censorship hide the scale, while propaganda shifts blame. It’s woke progressive policy that enables the violence.
Excluding the top 44 drops the adjusted national violent crime rate to 262/100,000—23% lower—making these cities 10.8× more dangerous than the rest of America.
The number of large cities has grown—from 287 in 2010 to 342 in 2024—driven by growth in the South and other non-blue states. Meanwhile, sanctuary cities inflate their counts with illegal immigrants, masking decline as Americans flee. Citizens and businesses have cut populations in blue cities by nearly 20%, choosing red states for faster growth, higher living standards, better schools, and safer streets.
The blood on the streets is theirs—and on their hands.
As the 2026 midterms approach, violence will escalate. Democrats have lost the debate because their policies are counterproductive and destructive. Lies and propaganda are all they have left, fuel to gin up rage for protests they hope to ride into power. They are no longer a viable governing party—only a party of hate and division.
America faces a choice: keep swallowing the lies—or confront the truth and hold Democrats accountable for decades of failed policies, broken lives, and buried bodies.
Image: Planned No Kings Day Protests (October 18, 2025)
This map shows the nationwide scope of “No Kings Day” protests—thousands of planned actions, with major hubs marked in red. Democrats and their allied movements intend to use these demonstrations to manufacture unrest and drive media narratives heading into the 2026 midterms. It illustrates the link between street mobilization, propaganda, and the deflection strategies outlined in this report.
Exhibits
The following exhibits provide the hard data behind Buried in Blue. Exhibit A explains why official FBI and UCR numbers understate violent crime and homicide rates. Exhibit B ranks the 50 most dangerous cities in America, exposing how Democrat-run cities dominate the list. Final sources document the data and research foundations for this report.
Exhibit A: Why Reported Violent Crime and Homicide Rates Are Understated
Reported FBI UCR rates—359 violent crimes per 100,000 and 5.0 homicides per 100,000 in 2024—are a half-truth. NCVS shows 40–50% of violent crimes go unreported (fear of reprisal, distrust of police, gang control), pushing the real violent crime rate to 538–719 per 100,000 (midpoint ~628). Homicides climb to 7.5–10.0 per 100,000 (16,419 reported vs. 24,600–28,500 actual). And even these “adjusted” figures remain low.
Why the numbers are rigged down:
Hierarchy Rule: Only the top offense is logged. A robbery-murder counts as a murder, erasing the robbery. This hides 20–30% of violent crimes (BJS 2023).
Downgraded Charges: Progressive policies like California’s Prop 47 reclassify felonies as misdemeanors, stripping 15–20% of violent crimes from UCR totals (Council on Criminal Justice 2025).
Voluntary Gaps: UCR relies on 16,675 agencies, but reporting is voluntary. High-crime urban areas often underreport, skewing rates 10–15% low (GAO 2024).
Transient Populations: Census baselines miss tourist surges in cities like Las Vegas, understating crime rates by 10–20% (NCVS 2023).
Low Clearance Rates: Only half of violent crimes are “cleared.” Unsolved cases mean 25% of incidents vanish from the record (FBI UCR 2024).
The result: Even adjusted figures are conservative. Memphis, for example, reports 2,420 violent crimes per 100,000 but adjusts to 4,400. In reality, true urban violence runs 1.2–1.5× higher than even adjusted stats. Democrats’ leniency—no-bail laws, Soros DAs, soft sentencing—feeds the cycle while the data is manipulated to hide the blood.
Exhibit B: Top 50 Most Dangerous Cities
The Top 50 U.S. cities by violent crime reveal a grim reality. Reported rates mask the truth—adjusted for 45% underreporting (NCVS 2023–2025), violence soars. Memphis hits 4,400 violent crimes per 100,000, St. Louis 3,418, with homicides jumping from 58.5 to 106.4 and 64.5 to 117.3, respectively. Of these, 45 are Democrat-run, driving 40% of the nation’s adjusted homicides. Even the most dangerous Red cities like Tulsa (1,655 violent, 11.3 homicides) stay 1.7× safer. The numbers expose a cover-up: official stats sanitize the carnage while Democrat-led cities bleed unchecked.
Note on Data Correction:
My initial list of the 50 most dangerous cities relied on 2025 estimates extrapolated from 2023–2024 data, which led to errors. I’ve revised it using only 2024 FBI UCR numbers. The result is a clearer, more reliable picture of violent crime rates and their adjusted toll.

And who is the primary funder of the no kings protests? Tides? Arabella? China?
Cogent article. The correlations are definitely there. But there are issues of underlying causation for the crimes. Fatherless homes (promoted by federal welfare policies)? Bad public schools? Drug culture? Lots more, I think.
