No One Should Kneel: Exposing the Illusions of Censorship and Control
A former citizen of Communist China warns that America is descending into an engineered darkness—where censorship, propaganda, and political control shape public perception.
A former citizen of Communist China warns that America is descending into an engineered darkness—where censorship, propaganda, and political control shape public perception just as they did under totalitarian rule. We are in an information war, and the choice is clear: wake up, resist, or submit and kneel.
Writing well is both difficult and time-consuming. I write to learn and for my own understanding. In doing so, I have gained deeper insight into my own country—its corruption and its attempts to censor its own citizens. One of the most eye-opening sources I’ve encountered is the work of Ruby Kamm, a former citizen of communist China. Ruby is a CPA who writes on Substack via her publication, TaxesTech News. She is an exceptional analyst whose work is invaluable in helping others see through the illusion of censorship and grasp the reality of what’s truly happening.
One of the most important insights I’ve taken from Ruby is her assertion that we live in a deepfake world. My own work—and hers—has consistently proven this unsettling truth. Too many people hold opinions that are not truly their own; they are political constructs, shaped by years of propaganda, fake news, and AI algorithms programmed to keep them in the dark. This is not a passive phenomenon but a deliberate and calculated effort—an engineered darkness designed to obscure corruption and consolidate power.
As a sharp friend recently put it, “Musk and Trump will go down as the saviors of liberal democracy and Western civilization.” Without Musk’s exposure of the Twitter Files and Trump’s unwavering leadership, our country was being dismantled from within. Discovering truth requires effort and discernment. Without fearless individuals like Ruby, many would still be blindly accepting the carefully curated narratives of those in power.
With her permission, I’ve included a recent exchange we had—an exchange that I believe others will find both insightful and deeply unsettling.
From Ruby Kamm:
English is my second language, but I love to practice it because it is a language of surgical precision, constructing the world’s most sophisticated legal system. It defines ownership and the transfer of ownership so clearly, serving as the essential condition for “fair exchange.”
Indeed, Western civilization depends on how we use words to reason through conflict so that we do not have to suffer from violence.
The leftist agenda of “redefining” everything, under the pretense of compassion, is actually dismantling our ability to reason through conflict. Without this ability, the only way to resolve disputes is through violence. They want us to accept this inferior, failed model unconditionally, ensuring their perpetual dominance. Why don’t they just follow the CCP’s lead and enshrine a constitution that permanently adheres to Democratic Party rule?
This party has become even less honest than the CCP—it is truly spectacular. At least in China, we know our votes do not matter, and we do not waste billions on the world’s most expensive and corrupt elections.
I am not fearless; I just know what to fear—the direction America will take if Trump is not elected in 2024.
Our battle has just begun. This is an information war, engineered by our own government and entrenched for half a century.
I am glad to meet others who see through the illusion, even without having lived under a communist regime. I knew I could not survive in China, even though my material life was abundant. I lost hope in my own country because the people there were numb. Numbness is a survival mechanism.
The Democrats demand the same numb obedience from us, expecting us to kneel to them. But no one should go numb and kneel.
What a powerful perspective from someone who truly understands what it means to live under a communist regime, stripped of freedoms and personal liberties—freedoms that would have been lost had Trump and the Republicans not won the 2024 election. Censorship is the foundation of authoritarian control, the mechanism through which governments maintain absolute power over their citizens. Without a free market of ideas and transactions, no civilization can remain free.
The heavy hand of an illiberal and corrupt government inevitably leads to lower living standards and widespread poverty. History has proven this time and again. Yet, those in power disregard these lessons, prioritizing their own wealth and influence over the well-being of the majority. Their concern is not governance but power—power that enriches themselves and their allies while the rest suffer under a rigged system.
This is a corrupt, pay-to-play scheme that rewards government tenure, which is why so many of our elected officials leave office far wealthier than when they entered. The politicians who scream the loudest against Trump and Musk’s efforts to dismantle the administrative state and expose bureaucratic bloat are the very ones who benefit the most from that bloat. Now, their schemes are unraveling, and consequences are looming for those who have betrayed their oaths to serve the people.
The Democratic Party has become synonymous with lies, censorship, inefficiency, and wasteful government. Their contempt for Middle America and the citizens they are meant to serve is no longer tolerable. Justice must be swift for those who have committed fraud and conspired to weaken our country from within.
We are fortunate to have individuals like Ruby, who truly understand what tyranny looks like, sharing their insights and working tirelessly to enlighten a populace that has yet to fully wake up to the dangers of censorship and government overreach. As she said, no one should go numb and kneel. Especially not to a government that has abandoned its own citizens.
The Chinese Model of Censorship: A Warning for America
China’s authoritarian control over its people is built upon a deeply sophisticated censorship system. One example is The People’s Daily’s “content moderation” system, Renmin Shenjiao, launched in July 2023. The name means “People’s Calibration,” and it uses a combination of AI algorithms and human censorship to detect politically sensitive content in documents, photos, videos, and social media posts across platforms like WeChat and Weibo. This system is designed to ensure that narratives remain aligned with the Chinese Communist Party’s agenda, eliminating dissent before it gains traction.
Disturbingly, similar AI-driven content moderation tactics have been deployed in the United States, particularly during the Biden-Harris administration. All major social media platforms adopted aggressive content moderation policies, often at the behest of government officials, suppressing speech that conflicted with the prevailing leftist narrative. The chilling effect of such censorship mirrors the Chinese model, making it increasingly difficult for Americans to engage in open discourse without fear of retribution or digital erasure.
This is no coincidence. The tools of control perfected in China are being imported under the guise of combating “misinformation” and “extremism.” But in reality, they serve a single purpose: maintaining power by silencing dissent. If we do not confront this growing threat, we risk following the same path of engineered compliance and institutionalized censorship that has kept the Chinese people in submission for decades.
As someone who escaped from the Soviet Union, I concur 100%
