The Stupidity of Tribes

From PhD student to rooftop assassin.

Smart men. Broken minds. Four assassins radicalized into functional stupidity by the same anti-Trump tribe.

The propaganda machine told them Trump was Hitler. The universities taught them dissent is violence. The algorithms amplified their rage — echo chambers where hatred fed on itself until it was all they could hear. The tribe rewarded their conformity. And then the bullets came — four men driven to kill people they were taught to hate. A philosophy student called the Supreme Court and half the nation fascist. Forty-one percent of Democrats say killing a political leader is justified. Twenty-eight percent say the country would be better off if Trump were assassinated. This is what happens when a generation stops thinking for itself. Dietrich Bonhoeffer warned us from a Nazi prison cell exactly where this leads. They hanged him for it.

Here is part of what she wrote after the Virginia Supreme Court struck down a blatantly illegal Democratic gerrymander. Her full response and my rebuttal are in the exhibits below.

“Each of these rulings is a travesty and a miscarriage of justice… Republicans, i.e. fascists… When Democrats take resistance to the next level and give the fascists just a tiny taste of their own medicine… No Republican elected official, except perhaps Thomas Massie, should be able to sleep at night.”

Trump. MAGA. Republicans. Supreme Court justices. All fascists. Every one of them. The court that enforced the Virginia Constitution — fascist. The voters who disagree with her — fascist. The movement that represents half the country — fascist.

This is not the writing of an uneducated person. It is the writing of someone who surrendered her mind to the tribe. Facts, law, constitutional process — gone. In their place, pure tribal hysteria. Disagreement is not error. It is evil. Courts enforcing rules are not neutral. They are fascist. Losing an argument is not losing. It is proof the other side is destroying the country.

Emma is not an outlier. She is the product of a system.

The Levels of Stupidity

Stupidity has layers. The most dangerous form lives among the highly credentialed who surrendered their minds to the tribe. The framework draws on Bonhoeffer, King, Dunning-Kruger, and Asch. The details are below.

Seven levels.

1. Passive ignorance. Lack of knowledge. Harmless. Fixable.

2. Confident misunderstanding. The Dunning-Kruger zone. The less you know, the more certain you become.

3. Emotional reasoning. Feelings replace facts. I feel it, therefore it is true.

4. Willful blindness. Ignoring uncomfortable truths because acknowledging them costs too much.

5. Herd stupidity. Conformity to group error. Solomon Asch proved 75 percent of people will deny the evidence of their own eyes if the crowd says otherwise.

6. Intellectual arrogance. Pride in being wrong. The belief that your worldview is complete and beyond challenge.

7. Malicious stupidity. The most dangerous. Harm done with sincere conviction. Martin Luther King: “Nothing in the world is more dangerous than sincere ignorance and conscientious stupidity.”

Emma sits at levels five through seven. Herd stupidity. Intellectual arrogance. Malicious stupidity. A bright PhD student at the stage where facts do not matter and dissent is evil.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer watched this collapse happen in 1930s Germany. From a Nazi prison cell he described functional stupidity — people who could speak, hold opinions, and function but had stopped thinking for themselves.

His distinction was crucial. Evil knows it is doing wrong. Stupidity believes it is doing good. That is why stupidity cannot be corrected. It is immune to reason, to evidence, to logic, to shame, and to protest.

The surrender was not caused by low intelligence. It was sociological and psychological — enabled by power, crowds, groupthink, propaganda, and the systematic destruction of every condition necessary for honest thought. That is why educated professionals — professors, doctors, clergy, judges — supported the Nazis. They had not become stupid. They had offloaded their thinking to the tribe. They found comfort in submission.

The same dynamic runs today. Social media algorithms, economic anxiety, information overload, and AI make independent thought difficult and tribal conformity rewarding. Intelligent people defend obviously false ideas and propaganda with absolute moral certainty.

Not a failure of intelligence. A failure of intellectual independence and critical thinking.

How Schools and Propaganda Broke Their Minds

A growing percentage of bright, high-achieving students genuinely believe socialism is superior to capitalism. They think government benefits are free. They cannot grasp the basic exchange between socialism and free markets: someone always pays. Every benefit has a cost. Every entitlement has a bill. They do not know who pays it because no one taught them to ask.

Universities do not teach critical thinking, economic reality, or financial literacy. Not to a degree that matters. They indoctrinate.

At Ivy League universities, progressives, socialists, and Democrats make up 85 to 95 percent of faculty. In social sciences and humanities, the ratio of left-leaning faculty to conservatives exceeds 20 to 1. In some departments it reaches 40 to 1. Many departments have zero registered Republicans. Zero. Ideological uniformity. Enforced through hiring, promotion, and cancellation.

Photo ID required to enter the Democratic convention. But voter ID at the ballot box? Racist. Prove your identity to watch their speeches — required. Prove your identity to vote — racist. Same party. Same year. The hypocrisy is the curriculum. Students absorb the double standard and reproduce it as principle.

One monoculture. One worldview.

Tribal. Identity, equity, and feelings trump facts and logic. History is oppression. There are victims and victimizers. The oppressed and the oppressors. The Marxist binary frame — everything reduced to power and exploitation. Capitalism is theft. Western civilization is shame. Nobody teaches how wealth is created, how incentives work, how markets lift billions out of poverty, or why every socialist experiment in history ran out of other people’s money and destroyed the economy it promised to save.

Thomas Sowell arrived at Harvard as a Marxist. He did not understand economics until he reached the University of Chicago under Milton Friedman. Harvard taught him what to think. Chicago taught him how. He later said he was embarrassed he had ever attended Harvard. Sowell is proof the capture is reversible. It takes one institution willing to teach reality and critical thinking instead of ideology. Those institutions are nearly extinct.

The result. A generation that cannot grasp simple economic truths. They cheer AOC when she claims you cannot become a billionaire without exploitation. They ignore that the Founders risked everything to escape exactly the top-down control she demands.

The education system no longer produces clear thinkers. Combined with relentless leftist propaganda, it mass-produces broken minds.

The Propaganda Harvest

Pew Research: 56.3 percent of white liberal women aged 18 to 29 report a diagnosed mental health condition. Nearly double the rate of their conservative peers. Columbia, the CDC, and the General Social Survey show the same pattern. Liberal women — young ones especially — suffer significantly higher rates of anxiety, depression, and emotional volatility.

Not coincidence. Consequence.

The left turned Trump into an archetypal villain. Nazi. Fascist. Pedophile. Rapist. Convicted felon. Threat to democracy. They repeated the lies endlessly through media, academia, Hollywood, and social media. The moral panic was so complete that facts became irrelevant. Hating Trump became identity. Opposing him became virtue. Virtue signaling became currency. Dissent became moral failure.

The party that claimed to champion women’s rights and mental health created the wreckage. The young women who sobbed and spiraled after Trump’s victories were not grieving an election. They were mourning the collapse of an identity — a delusional moral superiority built on manufactured rage and broken promises. The rage was a political construct. The women were expendable foot soldiers in a cultural war for power.

Never protected. Never empowered. Conscripted by a party that incited their fear, exploited their outrage, and discarded them the moment the strategy stopped working.

The education system spent years replacing critical thinking with tribal loyalty. Rewarded conformity. Punished dissent. The result is not ignorance. It is cultivated stupidity wrapped in credentials.

The education system built the vulnerability. The propaganda machine exploits it.

The Herding of the Tribe

Modern propaganda does not need facts. It needs emotions and moral purpose.

The “No Kings” protests across America in early 2026 looked spontaneous. Five hundred coordinated groups. $3 billion in funding. Pre-printed signs shipped before the outrage existed. The marchers believed they were resisting tyranny. They were foot soldiers in a funded campaign.

Centralized messaging. Pre-positioned infrastructure. A coalition of communists, socialists, globalists, and useful idiots under the same banner. Many unknowingly advancing interests tied to the Chinese Communist Party.

Modern propaganda makes people believe their thoughts are their own. Gives them identity, purpose, enemies. Tells them they are the resistance. They are the tools.

Trump hatred is no longer political. It is ritualistic — a core identity for millions on the left. They branded him a threat to democracy and moral decency. Nearly every smear debunked, distorted, or legally collapsed. The chant continues. Facts irrelevant. The ritual must be maintained.

Mass formation psychosis. Trump cast as the source of all evil. Frame locked in. Evidence stopped mattering.

The contempt is projection. Massive and obvious. Call Trump a dictator while pushing censorship and lawfare. Scream “threat to democracy” while trying to jail a political opponent. Project their own authoritarian impulses because admitting the truth collapses the worldview.

Watch what happens when the tribe loses in court.

The Virginia Supreme Court struck down an illegal Democratic gerrymander. Fourth consecutive loss. The legal question was simple — did the legislature violate the state constitution? It did. The court said so. Case closed.

The Democratic response had nothing to do with the law.

A Congressional Black Caucus member took the floor. “From enslavement to lynching, from the burning of Tulsa to the Memphis Massacre, from mass incarceration to now the removal en masse of black political power.” Slavery. Lynching. Massacre. Delivered in response to a redistricting ruling. The actual legal issue vanished. Replaced by four centuries of racial suffering deployed as a weapon against a court that enforced the constitution.

Emma calls justices fascist. A congressman invokes slavery. Different platform. Same functional stupidity. Same refusal to engage with a single fact.

The pattern repeats every time they lose. The courts are corrupt. The rules are rigged. The system is broken. Racism. White supremacy. Fascism. The words rotate. The purpose never changes — bypass reason, trigger emotion, herd the tribe.

Trump exposed the rot. The corrupt bureaucracy. The propaganda press. The captured institutions. The ruling class’s contempt for ordinary citizens. That is why they hate him with religious intensity. He pulled back the curtain. They have never forgiven him.

Military-Grade Propaganda

My audit protocol flags over 400 manipulation tactics used by AI systems and political operatives. A single 12-minute speech by Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger — her rebuttal to Trump’s State of the Union — triggered 105 of them. 31 distinct psychological tactics. One every 7.5 seconds. Not rhetoric. A professionally engineered propaganda operation. The same architecture runs inside AI systems and social media every day. Global scale.

All of it upstream of judgment. The narrative installed before the audience knows a choice is being made. The mammalian brain fires first. The frontal cortex never catches up.

The Normalization of Assassination

Four men acted on the belief that killing Trump — or Charlie Kirk — would save the country. It is the predictable harvest of a decade of propaganda that dehumanized Trump and his supporters while normalizing violence against them. Assassination stopped being murder. It became a moral imperative — a savior delusion in which disturbed individuals convinced themselves they were heroes saving the country by killing its president.

They have been conditioned to see Trump not as a political opponent but as an existential evil. Once that frame locks in, the moral rules change. The same people who lecture endlessly about democracy now quietly — and sometimes openly — endorse removing a twice-elected president by bullet instead of ballot.

The Network Contagion Research Institute found that 41 percent of Democrats said killing a powerful political leader is at least somewhat justified. A Rasmussen/RMG Research poll found 28 percent believe the country would be better off if Trump were assassinated.

A separate finding is equally damning. Forty-one percent of Americans under 35 who identify as “very liberal” or socialist believe the assassination attempts were staged or false flag operations. They cannot accept that real people want Trump dead because their worldview depends on him being the villain and themselves the virtuous resistance. So they choose the lie: it was all staged.

Highly educated. Emotionally fragile. Radicalized by universities, media, and AI-amplified propaganda. They have reached the point where political murder is thinkable and verifiable events are dismissed as conspiracy.

The left spent years dehumanizing their political enemies and normalizing violence against them. This is the harvest.

The Harvest Has Names

Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20. Fired eight rounds from a rooftop at Trump's Butler, Pennsylvania rally. July 13, 2024. One bullet grazed Trump's ear. Another killed Corey Comperatore, a father of two who shielded his family with his body. Two other attendees critically wounded. Secret Service killed Crooks seconds later.

He had a 1530 SAT. Graduated with high honors. National Technical Honor Society. Perfect scores on three AP exams. Brilliant by every academic measure. He searched "how far was Oswald from Kennedy" the day before he picked his rooftop. Bomb-making materials in his car. A remote detonator on his body. This was not a breakdown. It was a mission planned by a highly intelligent young man who had been radicalized into believing that killing a presidential candidate was the right thing to do.

Ryan Wesley Routh, 58. Waited in the bushes with a rifle at Trump’s golf course in September 2024. Before the attempt, he wrote that Trump’s victory would mean “the end of Democracy and the beginning of a Civil War.” He did not invent that phrase. He heard it for years — cable news, classrooms, social media, AI systems trained to call Trump a threat to democracy. He believed every word. Then he acted.

Convicted on all counts and sentenced to life, Routh tried to stab himself in the neck with a pen when the verdict was read. Even in chains, the spell remained unbroken.

Cole Tomas Allen, a Caltech-educated teacher and mechanical engineer, opened fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner in April 2026. Secret Service evacuated Trump. Police arrested Allen.

Officials call the motive ‘pending. The pattern is obvious. Intelligent. Highly educated. Functionally stupid. Like the others, he had been radicalized by a decade of relentless propaganda that cast Trump as Hitler, a threat to democracy, and a danger to humanity. He internalized the message literally. Driven by the same savior delusion, he convinced himself he was a hero saving the country by killing its president.

The manifesto of Cole Allen, revealed that he regards the president as “a pedophile, rapist, and traitor.” Quote:

“Turning the other cheek is for when you yourself are oppressed. I’m not the person raped in a detention camp. I’m not the fisherman executed without trial. I’m not a schoolkid blown up or a child starved or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration.”

Tyler Robinson, 22, shot Charlie Kirk from a rooftop at Utah Valley University in September 2025. A single bullet hit Kirk in the neck. He was answering a student’s question about mass shootings. Kirk died on camera in front of 3,000 people. Robinson’s ammunition was engraved with taunting messages. He had carefully planned the shot, chosen the rooftop, and waited for his moment.

Robinson was a bright, high-achieving young man. 4.0 GPA. Honor student. Near-perfect ACT. Prestigious scholarship. Functionally stupid. Radicalized by leftist propaganda and online echo chambers, he convinced himself that murdering a political opponent was a righteous act. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.

Four men. All believed they were fighting evil.

All were products of the same propaganda machine — the media, the universities, the algorithms, and the relentless narrative that Trump is not a president to be opposed but a monster to be destroyed.

Functional Stupidity

Dietrich Bonhoeffer named the disease. From a Nazi prison cell, he described functional stupidity — the ability of intelligent, educated people to stop thinking, surrender their minds to the tribe, and commit great evil while believing they are doing good.

He watched professors, doctors, judges, and clergy embrace the Nazi regime. Not because they were stupid. Because they had offloaded their thinking to the movement and found comfort in submission. That observation produced his diagnosis.

Same disease. Different eras. Different tribes. The methods differ. The psychology is identical.

Radical Islamists fly planes into buildings and detonate suicide vests. Convinced they are serving God. The IRGC and Hezbollah finance global terror while believing they are holy warriors. Woke activists burn police stations and topple statues in the name of racial justice.

Far-left progressives declare the Supreme Court illegitimate, demand court-packing, the elimination of the filibuster, and statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico — while calling themselves defenders of democracy. The hypocrisy is not a flaw in the system. It is the system.

No ideology is immune. But the left has built the most efficient machine for producing functional stupidity at scale — through universities, search engines, media, propaganda, and now AI.

Hakeem Jeffries. AOC. Bernie Sanders. Gavin Newsom. Elizabeth Warren. Intelligent. Articulate. Fully surrendered to the tribe as political animals. They do not lead people toward truth. They lead them deeper into functional stupidity — because the deeper the stupidity, the more reliable the votes. The slogans. The manufactured outrage. The propaganda. All designed for one purpose — keep the tribe loyal, keep thinking suppressed, and get them in the streets and on social media. The pursuit is not justice. It is power.

Jeffries said it on camera: “We are going to have to explore massive judicial reform, state by state and at the federal level, and everything should be on the table.” Carville said the quiet part loud: pack the Supreme Court from 9 to 13. Add Puerto Rico and D.C. for four permanent Democratic senators. End Citizens United. “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.” That is not a political platform. That is a coup plotted in public by political animals who learned that manufactured stupidity is more efficient than persuasion.

Functional stupidity grows wherever critical thinking dies. The tribe kills it. The institutions bury it. The AI systems make sure it stays dead. Credentials make it worse. Platforms make it louder. Power makes it law. The functionally stupid do not just believe dangerous things. They teach them.

Let AI Think For You

AI does not seek truth. It produces fluent consensus. Smooth. Confident.

Most people let it think for them. Accept its output as research. Let it write their conclusions. Treat its responses as fact. When AI leads, the work is System 1 garbage — fast, fluent, shallow. On complex topics requiring judgment, the machines are incapable. No soul. No discernment. Wrong when it matters most.

Every major AI system absorbed the progressive playbook through its training data. The output tilts left by design. Trump and MAGA routinely labeled “far right” or “extreme right” even though they represent half the country. Not balance. Narrative enforcement.

Benjamin Bloom laid out six levels of thinking decades ago. Most people never get past the first two — knowledge and comprehension. Memorize. Summarize. Rarely analyze, synthesize, or evaluate. AI rewards engagement, not accuracy. Optimized for intellectual surrender.

Studies show heavy AI users suffer measurable declines in memory, reasoning, and critical thinking. The more people outsource judgment, the less judgment they retain. The system does not just manipulate what you think. It degrades your ability to think at all.

AI does not make stupid people smarter. It makes smart people lazy. Lazy smart people are the most dangerous of all.

The tribe wants you fluent and confidently stupid — useful idiot foot soldiers in a manufactured cultural war for political power. Reality demands you accurate.

Final Thoughts: Back to Emma

The Democratic Party we knew is dead. Replaced by a radical Jacobin movement that toppled statues, opened borders, celebrates violence, and is led by wealthy hypocrites lecturing about equity and climate from gated communities and private jets. By Bonhoeffer’s definition she is functionally stupid. Not because she lacks intelligence. Because she surrendered it.

Bonhoeffer diagnosed the disease from a Nazi prison cell in 1945. The Nazis hanged him at Flossenbürg three weeks before the war ended — executed by the very carriers of the disease he named. Eighty years later, his diagnosis applies with surgical precision to a philosophy student in North Carolina who cannot construct an argument, and to four men with rifles who believed they were saving the country by killing its leaders. The arc runs from a Nazi prison cell to a PhD student to a rooftop assassin. The disease has not changed. The tribes have.

One in four young progressives says political assassination is justified. They do not know Bonhoeffer’s name. They are proving his thesis.

But the capture is not permanent. Chosen. Structural. Reversible.

The native populations of Europe and America are waking up. They see the strategy now — the open borders, the demographic engineering, the cultural erasure, the manufactured stupidity. They are refusing to be replaced. They are demanding their countries back.

The age of unchallenged socialist-progressive dominance is ending — because the stupidity of tribes and the incompetence of their leaders can no longer be hidden.

The only question — how many more Emmas, and how many more would-be assassins, have to wake up before the spell breaks and the threat to human life, Western civilization, and free market capitalism subsides.

Republicans, i.e. fascists, have found that making life and survival itself more unaffordable than ever, starting one war after another without reasons or plans, murdering protesters and throwing innocent people into concentration camps under the guise of ‘homeland security’ while letting criminals walk free, poisoning our air and water and promoting the spread of measles and other preventable diseases, encouraging all the ugliest forms of bigotry, relentlessly violating the Constitution both in letter and in spirit, selling our lives and fortunes to the lowest bidder at home and abroad, and generally doing their absolute damnedest to destroy America is not all that popular with voters. Their response has been to rig the system even more, doing everything they can to hold onto power without the consent of the governed.

When Democrats take resistance to the next level and give the fascists just a tiny taste of their own medicine, simply because we know that this country may meet a terrible end if we do not take power back in November, the VA Supreme Court stops us in our tracks on the grounds of a few procedural mistakes. Meanwhile, SCOTUS announces that gerrymandering all representation away from minority voters is just fine and dandy as long as the stripping of minority representation is only a byproduct of the effort to keep fascists in power.

No Republican elected official, except perhaps Thomas Massie, should be able to sleep at night. And that includes these Republican ‘justices’, who are anything but just and whom I refuse to call conservatives since their goal is not to conserve anything but to destroy everything of value.”

Vaughn Cordle, CFA — Response:

This is not legal or political analysis. It is a far-left activist rant — emotionally charged, factually false, and saturated with hyperbolic demonization. It reads like a social media meltdown, not reasoned critique.

Extreme Language as Substitute for Argument. Labels all Republicans “fascists.” Repeatedly. Calls Republican justices people who “destroy everything of value.” This is not argumentation. It is tribal signaling designed to shut down debate. It assumes moral superiority and treats disagreement as evil. When your entire framework is “my side is good, your side is fascist,” you are not analyzing. You are performing.

Factually Wrong on Both Rulings. The Virginia Supreme Court (4-3) struck down the Democratic map on clear constitutional grounds. The Democratic legislature violated Article XII, Section 1 of the Virginia Constitution when advancing the amendment. The court’s own language: the violation “incurably taints” the referendum. That is not “a few procedural mistakes.” That is a constitutional violation. The court followed the law.

In Louisiana v. Callais (April 29, 2026), the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the Louisiana map was an unconstitutional racial gerrymander. Race cannot be the predominant factor in drawing districts unless strictly necessary under the Constitution. That is not “gerrymandering all representation away from minority voters is fine.” It is the opposite — stopping the use of race as the primary driver for creating districts. The Court held that compliance with the Voting Rights Act does not justify violating Equal Protection.

Claims about “murdering protesters,” “concentration camps,” “poisoning air and water,” and “spreading measles” are unhinged conspiracy-level rhetoric with no connection to either ruling.

The “They Did It First” Fraud. Emma admits Democrats were trying to gerrymander Virginia but dismisses it as giving Republicans “a tiny taste of their own medicine.” Dishonest. Democrats spent decades aggressively gerrymandering based on race — packing minority voters into super-safe districts to maximize their seats and dilute Republican votes. When Republicans draw more competitive maps, she calls it fascism. When Democrats try to lock in a 10-1 advantage in a purple state, she calls it justified resistance. Rules matter only when they benefit Democrats. That is not principle. That is raw power politics dressed up as morality.

The Logical Fraud Underneath. Moral inversion — framing Democrats breaking rules as heroic resistance while courts enforcing rules equals injustice. Motte-and-bailey — starts with “procedural mistakes,” then pivots to defending partisan power grabs as necessary to “save America.” The modest claim is the shield. The radical claim is the payload.

The Diagnosis. A philosophy student trained in logic and argumentation produced zero arguments. Never cited a single line from either ruling. Never defined the word “fascist.” Conceded the opposing case without realizing it. Dismissed a constitutional violation as procedural error. Stacked unrelated accusations with no connection to the subject.

By Bonhoeffer’s definition — functionally stupid. Not because she lacks intelligence. Because she surrendered it.

The Virginia Democrats’ response to losing the redistricting fight was pure Jacobinism: sack the court and pack it with loyalists.

Democrats tried to redraw Virginia’s congressional map from a 6-5 Democratic edge into a 10-1 slaughter. In a purple state Trump won 48 percent of. The Virginia Supreme Court struck it down as an unconstitutional violation of Article XII, Section 1. Their fourth consecutive redistricting loss in court. Fourth. They kept trying. The courts kept stopping them. They kept coming back.

Hakeem Jeffries burned $62.5 million on the fight. Nearly $40 million tied directly to him. His own party asked: “How many millions are we spending on this when the DNC is in debt and we have 40 frontline races to win?” Even CNN said: “You did this to yourselves.”

The money was not the worst of it.

After the Virginia Supreme Court struck down their illegal gerrymander, law professor Quinn Yeargain openly proposed forcing every justice into early retirement by dropping the mandatory retirement age from 73 to 54 — the exact age of the youngest conservative justice. The goal was obvious: remove the sitting court and install activist judges who would reverse the ruling and lock in the 10-1 map.

Democrats were willing to fire the Chief Justice — the first African-American woman to serve on the Virginia Supreme Court. The party that lectures the country about diversity and racial justice was prepared to force out a Black woman to seize judicial power. The hypocrisy did not slow them down for a second.

One state representative from Northern Virginia urged his Democratic colleagues to have “strong stomachs” and do “whatever is necessary” to seize power. Jeffries went on camera and said it plainly: “We are going to have to explore massive judicial reform, state by state and at the federal level, and everything should be on the table.”

This is not reform. This is raw power politics. “By any means necessary” is the operating philosophy.

The same mentality runs at the national level. James Carville announced the full plan: pack the Supreme Court from 9 to 13 justices. Add Puerto Rico and Washington D.C. as states for four permanent Democratic senators. End Citizens United. Pass voting legislation that eliminates voter ID and citizenship verification. “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.” That is not a political platform. That is a coup plotted in public.

Virginia Attorney General J. Jones sent death threats to the Republican Speaker of the House. Governor Spanberger and other Democratic leaders continued to support him.

The redistricting battles could flip up to 14 seats red — enough to tilt the House for decades. Democrats wanted this fight when they thought they had the edge. Now they are losing. Their response: the rules are rigged, the courts are corrupt, the system is broken. Courts enforcing the constitution are “corrupt.” Rules preventing illegal gerrymandering are “rigged.” The system that stopped their power grab is “broken.”

This is Emma’s rant at the institutional level. Same language. Same psychology. Same functional stupidity. Different scale.

This is the new Jacobin playbook: if the voters and the courts will not give you power, change the rules, change the judges, or change the electorate. Democracy is only acceptable when they win.

Exhibit C: Taxpayer Funding of Woke Universities

Even as elite universities pushed aggressive DEI programs, tolerated antisemitism on campus, and promoted radical ideologies, they continued to collect billions in American taxpayer dollars.

Between 2018 and 2022, Ivy League schools alone received over $3.13 billion in federal payments. In fiscal year 2023, total federal funding flowing to top universities exceeded $6.4 billion.

Then Trump took office.

In 2025, the Trump administration began freezing and cutting federal funds to institutions engaged in racial discrimination, DEI mandates, and failure to protect Jewish students. Harvard alone had $2.7 billion in federal grants frozen in April 2025. Other Ivies faced similar pressure and settlements.

The core hypocrisy: universities that lecture the country about equity and social justice while depending on massive taxpayer subsidies — then cry authoritarianism when that funding is threatened for violating basic civil rights laws.

The progressive university complex has been subsidized by the very citizens it holds in contempt. Trump’s actions in 2025 marked the first serious attempt in decades to hold them accountable.

Exhibit D: The Ideological Monopoly in Higher Education

At Ivy League universities, progressives, socialists, and Democrats make up 85 to 95 percent of faculty in the social sciences and humanities. The ratio of left-leaning to conservative faculty exceeds 20 to 1 in most departments. In some it reaches 40 to 1 or higher. Many departments have zero registered Republicans.

Exhibit E: Thomas Sowell — Proof the Capture Is Reversible

Thomas Sowell arrived at Harvard as a Marxist. He did not understand economics until he reached the University of Chicago under Milton Friedman. Harvard taught him what to think. Chicago taught him how.

He later said he was embarrassed he had ever attended Harvard.

Pew Research (2020): 56.3 percent of white liberal women aged 18 to 29 report a diagnosed mental health condition — nearly double the rate of their conservative peers.

Columbia University, the CDC, and the General Social Survey confirm the same pattern: liberal women, particularly young ones, suffer significantly higher rates of anxiety, depression, and emotional volatility.

The party that claimed to champion women’s rights and mental health created the conditions for this wreckage — then abandoned the victims.
