Troll Farms helped Joe Biden get elected
Two of the troll farm operators who executed the Biden campaign spoke about how social media manipulating agencies in New Delhi and Mumbai triggered a huge troll network to amplify Biden’s campaign.
Elon Musk, after agreeing to purchase Twitter, expressed concerns about the prevalence of fake accounts on Twitter. He also alleged that many of Joe Biden's followers were fake. A subsequent investigation by Zenger News revealed that these fake accounts, which supported Biden, were created by Indian troll farms. These artificially inflated social media numbers likely aided Biden's election. The payments to the troll farms were made in cash every month through an international money transfer system called Hawala, which operates outside of traditional banking networks, making the source of the payments unknown.
Newsweek (11/2/2020): Nearly half of President Biden’s 22.2 million Twitter followers are bogus, a new audit revealed. The audit was done for Twitter by software firm SparkToro, which found that 49.3% of the president’s followers are “fake followers.”
An investigation has revealed that a significant portion of Joe Biden's Twitter followers were purchased from troll farms in India. This was evident when there was a sudden spike of 738,595 new followers, a 9.1% increase, for the Biden-Harris campaign after Kamala Harris was announced as the running mate. By the third week of October 2020, Biden's total number of followers had reached 11 million. This suggests that a large portion of his social media following was artificially inflated through paid methods. Add to that the fact that a large number of the “followers” were located in small towns in rural India and in places where English speakers are considered an anomaly.
Some of the operators who worked on the campaign spoke at length about how propaganda agencies in New Delhi and Mumbai activated a widely distributed troll network to amplify Biden's campaign impact on Twitter. The handles – or usernames – are also owned by people who don’t speak English as a first language. Neither do they look to be legitimately invested in American politics.
Two operators of the Indian troll farms that were hired by the Biden campaign have revealed that social media manipulation agencies in New Delhi and Mumbai orchestrated a large-scale network to artificially amplify Biden's campaign on Twitter. The operators stated that the farms were paid to create fake accounts and increase the campaign’s online presence through artificially inflated social media metrics. “We don’t pick and choose. Joe Biden the person is irrelevant to us,” Yajpal Yadav, who is based in the eastern Indian town of Patna, said. He is the owner of a cybercafé that doubles as a hub for the massive troll farms of India.
“We got a target in August to follow him and engage with his tweets, and we did. The agencies in Delhi who we work with don’t tell us any details, and we don’t ask,” he said.
Yajpal sketched out a pyramid-shaped campaign structure much like that of a multi-level marketing scheme, but without the mid-level payoffs, and explained that this is how the troll farms are managed.
“There are so many levels [of subcontractors] in this, nobody can really trace anything back. We don’t even get paid through banks. We settle in cash once a month” via a popular international money transfer system named Hawala that uses shady bookkeepers outside official banking networks.
Twitter, Facebook, and other social media companies are in the hot seat over their various forms of censorship of voices that do not support the government or the Democratic Party leadership’s approved narratives. It would require the willing suspension of disbelief to think that Twitter executives did not see the same irregular patterns that were recognized by the Zenger investigation.
The question remains—who paid the troll farms to support the Biden campaign? Did the same people or organizations also pay troll farms to boost support for Biden on other social media companies? If so, there could have been tens of millions of fake accounts supporting Joe Biden's presidential candidacy during the 2020 elections, rendering the election, as Trump has repeatedly claimed, stolen.
By the courage of one-truth. By the courage of more-recovery…maybe 🙏
