This is not a crisis. It’s an invasion. The scale of illegal immigration across the US southern border is staggering and the Biden administration does nothing to stop it.
I’m routinely flabbergasted by how much destabilization of the country this “administration “ has achieved, and wonder if there is any coming back from it?
A bloated, financially unsustainable, welfare state + open borders and illegal alien invasion = ruin and a radically different America. We may be past a point of no return. Unsustainable and massive public debt is why our country is facing a very difficult future.
Biden is either incompetent or evil. Whenever we get an executive who is competent and interested in protecting the US it will take a long time and a lot of effort to seal the border and return the nation to normalcy if it can be done at all.
Biden might think this is just like what things looked like in the 1800's when the Irish fled the famine to the US. Unfortunately, times are very different. We have welfare and lots of "free" things from the government. In addition, the number of malevolent people are unknown and likely uncountable. The damage done to the nation will is incalculable and Biden, being elderly, may not live long enough to see the damage he has done.
