What the DOGE folks uncovered was the extent to which Democratic leaders and their minions have been using taxpayer dollars to enrich themselves and their friends/supporters. They’re super pissed that their corrupt and fraudulent activities are now public, and they’re hot for revenge. Can the Trump Administration survive the coming onslaught? Not unless the 70 million plus people who voted for him are willing to take to the streets to support him. This is going to get ugly and fast.
"Jacobin is a leading voice of the American left, offering socialist perspectives on politics, economics, and culture" So says Jacobin magazine of itself, but those who know history, know what they really intend, Complete control, silencing the opposition, by violence or otherwise. See more at Wikipedia.
I discovered it several years ago, and was astonished that these writers would so carelessly advertise their tyrannical intentions. Usually tyrants take power by promising to help people, solve problems, steal from the rich to give to the poor. Not these brazen plotters. They plan to cut off our heads while knitting at the foot of the guillotine.
I'd honestly like to know your point of view about the following.
"The goal is simple: bring down opposition through fear, disruption, and demoralization—and replace constitutional order with progressive welfare state authoritarianism.
Trump, the master marketer, is now displaying mug shots of deported convicted illegal immigrants around the White House lawn—shoving the raw consequences of Democratic Party policies directly in their faces."
Are you saying that Donald Trump is not also using the media to "bring down [his own] opposition through fear, disruption and demoralization"? Your second paragraph that I quoted above seems to portray that as a strong possibility.
What makes it okay for the President of our country (no matter what political party he claims) to brag about capturing ANY humans, for any reason, by displaying their faces on the white house lawn to show his "power"? Why must he show such brute force? It's embarassing. It shows a lack of political and cultural courtesy, to say the least. Let me know what you have to say back to this. I am here to openly discuss, not angrily argue.
Other than that, could you please provide me with links (or book recommendations) to the specific sources you used to verify that the government (you said particularly Democrats) is trying to "legalize non-citizens by the millions"? I will need the sources to verify this claim, for my own personal reference.
If you read this comment, thank you! I hope to discuss. Have a great day, however you think about it all!
Thanks for reading—and for engaging without the usual name-calling that tends to dominate political exchanges. That said, your response misdiagnoses both the intent and the asymmetry of power.
Let’s be clear: what Trump is doing by displaying mug shots of convicted, deported criminals—not “any humans”—is exposing the real-world consequences of open border policies pushed by Democrats. These aren’t harmless migrants seeking work. They’re repeat offenders, rapists, and killers who were allowed in, sometimes released multiple times, due to progressive sanctuary policies and judicial bottlenecks. You might call it “brute force.” I call it accountability theater—a visual counterstrike to the narrative control machine that’s run interference for failed immigration policy for years.
You ask, “Isn’t Trump also using fear?” Of course he is. But there’s a key difference: he’s using truth-based fear. The fear of what happens when sovereign borders are erased, when laws are unenforced, when American citizens pay the price in blood while bureaucrats hide behind euphemisms like “inclusive policy.” There’s a world of difference between scaring people with facts, and gaslighting them with fantasy.
As for the mug shots being “embarrassing”—good. It should be embarrassing. Not for Trump, but for the politicians and NGOs who’ve allowed this carnage. He’s not showing off power; he’s showing the cost of their recklessness.
Now, your final question—about legalizing non-citizens. The evidence is overwhelming. Here are a few data points and sources for your review:
2+ million illegal immigrants have been issued Social Security numbers under Biden’s DHS, per internal reports flagged by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
A February 2024 FOIA release showed ICE’s internal memos acknowledging that millions of illegals were being processed for “expedited pathways to legal work authorization.”
Congressional testimony from Tom Homan (former Acting Director of ICE) outlines how the Biden administration deliberately slowed deportation dockets to keep illegals in the U.S. for 5–7 years—long enough to anchor, have U.S.-born children, and become eligible for amnesty under future laws.
Biden’s own Executive Order 14012 instructed agencies to “identify barriers to immigration benefits and naturalization.” In plain English? Streamline the path from illegal entry to legal status.
For book-length investigations, look at:
“Open Borders Inc.” by Michelle Malkin
“America’s Covert Border War” by Todd Bensman
“The Case Against the New Censorship” by Alan Dershowitz (for context on how censorship ties into immigration policy narratives)
This isn’t theory. It’s a coordinated campaign of narrative inversion, demographic manipulation, and legalistic laundering of illegal immigration into voting power.
So no, I won’t apologize for calling it what it is: a calculated strategy to permanently shift the electorate by flooding the country, slowing removals, and using amnesty to seal the deal.
Happy to keep the dialogue going. Just don’t expect me to speak in the polite language of decline.
This is largely right. I have been saying for a decade this is underway, and it is now on the verge of coming true.
The modern Democrat Party more closely resembles the Whig Party of 1853 than at any time in its history. The Whig Party lost the presidential election in 1852 (think 2024) and, within four years, was no longer a national party. Why? Because the party was made up of so many disparate factions and could not put together a cohesive national platform without alienating a big chunk of its voting bloc. The Republican Party emerged in the 1850s as the Whig Party disintegrated, absorbing many of its members and ideals.
The Whigs, active from the 1830s to the 1850s, were a coalition party that fractured over slavery, particularly after the Kansas-Nebraska Act of 1854 deepened sectional divides. Northern Whigs, opposed to the expansion of slavery, found the party’s compromises untenable.
You can think of Northern Whigs as the far-left Marxist side of today's Democrat Party. Would AOC, the Squad, Sanders, et al., shut up, sit down, and support middle-of-the-road common sense issues to become nationally relevant again?. I don't see it.
The poisonous Marxist mind virus and the siren song of socialism are powerful. Combined with TDS, they’re dangerous.

Thanks for the reminder. Yes, Jacobin is a leftist magazine—aptly named, wouldn’t you say?

Thank you for your perspective and reading recommendations! I appreciate your openness. I'll let you know if I have any more questions for you.
Thank you for taking the time to read my essay and the feedback. Interesting times, yes?

Great feedback…very insightful.
This doesn't even mention their enabling and support of Islamist terrorists, including domestic ones.
