Janet Yellen is another example — an academic with no real-world experience who was wrongfully given authority far beyond her capabilities. She is the most tone-deaf, incoherent, and cold-hearted individual I’ve ever encountered.

the government and academic economists are worthless when it comes to forecasting. the monkey throwing darts literally is better. the economists and analysts working for private firms, the ones with real money at risk, fared much better.

The fact is that Democrats, especially today's make and model, are not intellectually smart people. I've not heard a single economic policy rooted and grounded in fiscal sensibility. Capitalism is what made America prosperous, free, and independent. Tariffs, if sustained properly, would put an end to the corrupt taxing of America. It's because we totally lost our manufacturing base that they are even needed. Make it here and everything self-corrects. Buy it from everyone else and you self-destruct.
