It's difficult to make a direct connection in this area. Sure, you've done a great job. But most people don't see the connection because it doesn't happen within a shorter timeframe, likely a week but maybe they can remember a quarter. Asking most people to 'connect the dots' over more than one year, it doesn't happen. How many people recognize what happened in the 60's and 70's through give-aways, got tied to stagflation? Few, if any. Same here and that's what the Dems rely on. Their approach is to jawbone the topic. As one person said, 'watch their hands, not their lips'.
